Propose a Program
The Process
The Continuing Education Committee or the NCW Rural Health Foundation meets monthly to review applications for classes and programs from planning groups or individuals. Programs may be a full conference under the name of the NCW Rural Health Foundation or jointly sponsored with the planning entity. If you are interested in asking the NCW Rural Health Foundation to fully sponsor an event, please contact us to discuss your needs before you submit an application. A complete application including conflict of interest forms must be received by the NCWRHF CME Committee at least seven (7) days before the next CME committee meeting. We strongly encourage you to submit proposals at least 6 weeks before a scheduled event to allow for modifications or additional paperwork the committee may request. The Event Sponsor will be notified when the NCWRHF CME Committee will meet and should have a representative available to present your proposal. Read a detailed outline of the roles and responsibilities expected of the Coordinator and Planning team.
Start the process by contacting CME Coordinator Allen Dietz at info@ncwruralhealth.org

Conference Fees
North Central Washington Rural Health Foundation offers two options for organization of a new Continuing Education program that is proposed by an organization or individual.
NCWRHF Sponsored Conference
North Central Washington Rural Health Foundation provides full conference planning services, including the generation of revenue, accounting for all funds, all registration processing, setting of registration fees, determining the conference budget, producing the evaluation forms and certificates and summarizing the data collected from the evaluations. The conference planning committee retains the ability to creatively plan the who, what, where and content of the event. Up to six members of the planning committee will have registration fees/tuition waived, receive public acknowledgement of their efforts and a discount on a vendor booth. NCWRHF retains all earnings above expenses and incurs all debts.
Cooperative Conference
The applying organization is responsible for all conference-related activities, plans the content of the conference, handles all registration for the conference, incurs all financial risk, and pays a fee to NCWRHF for processing CME for the activity. NCWRHF will supply attendance sheets, a CME evaluation form, and will distribute certificates to conference attendees within two (2) weeks from when conference sign-in sheets are received.
Application and Certificate Fees
NCWRHF Sponsored Conference
Since NCWRHF retains all earnings above expenses and incurs all debts, there is no application fee for this type of conference. Please contact us before you select this option as we have limited resources to fully sponsor conferences.
Cooperative Conference
There is a $250 Application Fee for cooperative conferences that is due with the application prior to approval unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If the activity application is denied, the $250 will be returned or refunded. Invoices are available on request. In addition, there is a $10/participant certificate fee based on sign-in sheets returned to NCWRHF after the event.
